About three years ago, I decided to get a little more serious about my hobby of creative writing and start soliciting feedback, editing, and - scariest of all - submitting. Part of that "getting serious" process apparently also includes creating a website, and so here we are. I plan to post the stories that I've published externally, perhaps share any stray short stories of mine that never find a home, and blog about the highs and lows of the creative process.

When I'm not writing or stressing about the business of writing, I am climbing rocks, hiking mountains, running experiments in the lab where I work as a neuroscientist, and chasing around my 7 year old son.
